You (improbably) loved it on your television set — now experience the tackiest disaster movie of the century, “Sharknado,” with full-size great whites flying at your face.

On Thursday at 6 p.m.,Syfy Movies with a View at Brooklyn Bridge Park will screen the thrilling saga of the ocean’s most formidable predator as it teams up with a tornado to terrorize Los Angeles. The guy who’s not either of the would-be James Deans on “90201” is just trying to enjoy the California sun at his beachside bar when he’s forced to team up with his ex-wife (Tara Reid), the bartender and a local drunk to … the summary says “investigate the ecological nightmare,” but shouldn’t the Coast Guard field this one?

Anyway, add a good crowd to that madness and you’ve got the makings of a great night. To sweeten the deal (beyond free bike parking!) is the chance to win Syfy Channel swag by downloading the Sharknado: Go Shark Yourself! app and uploading your best photo to Twitter with #Sharknado2 (coming July 30 at 9 p.m.) and tagging @BklynBrdgPark.
