Should we worry about Johnny Depp?

Guys? Johnny Depp isn’t looking too good. The “Black Mass” star hit the Palm Springs International Film Festival red carpet looking puffy, palid and worse for the wear, with his problematic complexion only amplified by the presence of wife Amber Heard by his side, looking stunning as usual.

“He was very friendly but almost unrecognizable. He looked to have put on a good 30 pounds at least,” a source on the scene tells Radar Online. “His hair was a greasy mess, and his teeth were yellowed, too. It was pretty shocking. He looked more like Marlon Brando than Johnny Depp.” I’m going to go ahead and assume that source means late-in-life Brando, because being compared to young Brando is a total compliment.

But Depp’s troubling behavior didn’t stop on the carpet. Inside the festival’s awards gala, Depp skipped the usual acceptance speech in lieu of something weirder. “He kind of mumbled, ‘How was the beef?'” another source says. “He seemed really confused and rambling, and then just ended abruptly by saying, ‘It’s over with, that’s it,’ before just walking off. People were kind of looking at each other like, ‘What just happened?’ It was bizarre.” The source adds that Depp skipped the after-party, which makes sense since he seemed to have gotten his fill at a pre-party.
