Ditch the giant teddy bears and box of chocolates this Valentine’s Day and give your loved one something extra special — a cockroach.

For just $10, the Bronx Zoo is letting lovers name one of its Madagascar hissing cockroaches as a symbol of their love.

Once you pick a name, the zoo will send your love one a digital certificate featuring the name of your cockroach — along with a nice photo of what the critter looks like.

And for those who still want to add a little sweet item to the surprise, an extra $15 will send a printed roach certificate and some chocolates from the Nunu Chocolate company in Brooklyn.

The money raised will go towards helping protect the cockroaches — which the zoo calls “misunderstood love bugs” — along with other animals.

“As they say, roaches make the heart beat faster,” the zoo said on its website.
