They had to call it quits, and now Kent Hehr’s campaign team is packing it in with a little help from their friends.
Hehr’s campaign officials sent out a service announcement asking those with Hehr lawn signs to “please take them down and consider either keeping it as a souvenir or disposing of it however” they see fit.
A spokesperson at the Hehr office said in their experience, people usually remove the signs themselves before volunteers can get there.
“We will go pick up the signs if people ask, but we find often times they are already stored in the garage or the garbage,” Gwyneth Midgley said.
