Sip away the summer with Boston’s Sangria and Rosé Fest

Sangria Rose

For firm believers in the rosé all day lifestyle, Boston is the place to be Thursday night. Head down to the Seaport Hotel for the Boston Event Guide’s Sangria and Rosé Fest July 27 and sip the night away on these famous summer beverages.

Close to a dozen sangria and rosé vendors will be on hand to provide samples to the event’s expected 800 guests. Some highlights include sparkling rosé, a hibiscus and ginger variety and authentically Spanish Begonia sangria. And for those who like their sangria cold, there will be a signature ice luge.

“Sangria and rosé seem to be the new items of the summer that everyone wants,” says event manager Jeff Popkin, noting that while Boston Event Guide has been putting on wine festivals for years, the popularity of these two fruity beverages inspired this summer’s festival.

For those who want to pace themselves, there will be plenty of non-alcoholic opportunities for fun. A DJ will be spinning Top 40 hits all night long and guests can try their hand at bocce ball, pool or foosball. Additionally, there will be a silent auction to benefit Project Smile, a Massachusetts-based organization, which provides stuffed animals and other comfort items for police, firefighters and paramedics to give to children in traumatic situations.

With prime views of Boston Harbor, July weather and hundreds of people looking to have fun after work, say “yes way rosé,” to this unique summer festival.
