A sketch has been released of a man accused of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old girl inside her Bronx building last weekend.

The incident happenedaround the Fordham Heights area at about 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 24. as the child was entering the building, police said.

The girl was approached from behind by an unknown man, who then forced his armsaround her mouth before restraining her, authorities said. He then sexually abused her.

The victim began to scream and the suspect then fled on foot. She was taken to alocal hospital before beingtreated and released.

Earlier this week police also released video footage of the alleged abuser, showing himat a local commercial establishment following the incident.

Authorities describe the suspect asa clean-shaven, light-skinned Hispanic man, approximately 5 feet 9-inches tall and 165 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a dark, fitted baseball cap, a gray-hooded sweater, red T-shirt and gray sneakers.
