Slain Brampton mom remembered

One relative missing from Fatima Lima’s funeral yesterday was on everyone’s mind. “It’s so sad there weren’t cameras inside so Justin could see the service,” family friend Emily Medeiros said after the ceremony — a reference to Lima’s youngest son, currently in police custody. Police charged Justin Lima, 28, with second-degree murder in connection with the slaying. The young father had been battling depression for years, relatives said. Addressing about 800 mourners in Portuguese, a priest at Brampton’s Our Lady of Fatima Church yesterday spoke of Justin and forgiveness.
