The organizer of a Facebook memorial page for Delta teen Laura Szendrei was scrambling yesterday to remove nasty comments and pornographic images posted on the site.
Tyler Merko, administrator of the group Justice for Laura Szendrei — which has more than 3,300 members — said he changed the settings so only “respected members” can comment after someone posted “disturbing photos.”
“I am looking into who posted these photos,” he wrote on the wall.
Delta police Sgt. Sharlene Brooks said it takes a “disturbed individual” to try to bring more grief to Laura’s family and her friends.
The messages were possibly created by trolls — virtual vandals who post material on memorial pages simply to be offensive.
