Another slashing was reported in the city Thursday afternoon — less than a day after another person was also cut in the face in a downtown attack.

The slashing incident is reportedly the fourth in the city in under three days.

This latest attack happened in Nolita, just after 2 p.m. near the intersection of Lafayette and Prince streets, according to published reports.

ABC 7 reported that the slashing happened during a robbery as the male victim was walking out of a store. The man was sliced in the face, but has non-life threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for the assailant.

Thursday afternoon’s slashing follows a nearby attack Wednesday night in Greenwich Village.

The incident took place at Silver Spurs restaurant on LaGuardia Place near Houston Street around 8 p.m., police said.

After the suspect asked customers to give him money, he was kicked out.

The man then returned to the restaurant about five minutes later and used a blade to slice open a waiter’s face, reports said.

This slashing was the third within 48 hours after a 23-year-old man in the Financial District was attacked late Monday night, and a cab driver in Harlem had his face sliced on Tuesday, according to theNew York Daily News.

That attacker remains at large, and is described by police as male, black or Hispanic and 15 to 18 years old. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
