Slovakian terror test puts 1 in cuffs

SLOVAKIA. A Slovakian security exercise backfired after an unwitting participant was arrested for carrying 3 ounces of plastic explosives aboard a flight.

The man, who has not been identified, was one of eight travelers chosen without consent to carry explosive materials through Bratislava airport — in an attempt to test the country’s security apparatus. Though the other seven were found out, one man slipped through the net, and was later apprehended in Ireland on terrorism charges.
