Broadway has never been cooler than since the Mean Girls musical breezed into town. Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond’s adaptation of her 2004 movie keeps setting box office records at the August Wilson Theater, and it’s thanking fans with a free Mean Girls musical performance on Oct. 3.

Fans of the show know the date as Cady Heron’s favorite day because it’s the day her crush Aaron Samuels finally talked to her (it was about math, but whatever!) But it could become their favorite day, too if they’re among the winners of a pair of tickets to see the Mean Girls musical for free. Through Aug. 8, you can sign up for a digital lottery through Lucky Seat to be entered for a chance at tickets to the special Mean Girls Day performance.

And if it wasn’t already so fetch that you’re seeing Mean Girls for free, it won’t just be a regular show — there will be cameos and other surprises, too. Oh, and Oct. 3 falls on a Wednesday, so wear pink or you can’t sit with us.

The musical adaptation of the 2004 film has been rocking Broadway since it opened in March 2018. Tying the SpongeBob SquarePants musical for the most nominations at the 2018 Tony Awards with 11, it won exactly none of them — but that hasn’t stopped it from being one of the hottest new shows on Broadway. In case you’re wondering whether it’s for you, check out our guide to why every Mean Girl will love the Mean Girls musical.

And because who knows better that being nice is harder than being mean, the cast will be mentoring girls in New York City public high schools this fall.
