Song Therapy: The Zombies are not that spooky, in fact they’re downright optimistic

This hopeful piano procession was at one point a sad footnote of a band whose year it certainly wasn’t. As shortly after this song was recorded, the band split up, only to have a huge hit two years later with “Time of the Season.” But by that time the band members were onto different projects. But the Zombies are back to touring again, so there’s a happy ending. The way that singer Colin Blunstone sings, “you don’t have to worry, all your worrying days are gone,” you really believe him and you can almost feel your heart inflate with possibility.
