Sox tap Young to replace Farrell

The Red Sox have found a successor to departed pitching coach John Farrell.

Curt Young, late of the Oakland A’s, will lead the staff starting next season.

Young had been with the A’s for seven years. Over that time,?Oakland had the best team ERA in the American League (4.03).
