3 Storylines to watch for?US vs. Algeria

1. A confident team is needed to advance

2. The first 15 minutes are so crucial

3. Hold onto the right side

With the suspension of Robbie Findley for yellow card accumulation, U.S. coach Bob Bradley must find a partner for Jozy Altidore up top.

Edson Buddle and Herculez Gomez could fit in place. If Clint Dempsey, a creative player who is strong in the box, gets the nod, that creates a vacancy on the right wing. Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden, a product of MLS, would seem the natural fit. Holden has struggled with injuries but his promising right foot and strong crosses would be welcome in the match. If Holden can deliver a cross or two onto the head of Altidore or Dempsey, then the U.S. would likely advance to the second round for the first time since 2002.
