You can’t keep a savvy reality star down. Fresh off the catty fury that was the most recent season of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” Bethenny Frankel is attempting to find her own reality show zen with a new series that focuses entirely on her struggles with being pregnant, getting married, and keeping up with her career as a healthy-eating media mogul.

“‘The Housewives’ — how do I explain it? It doesn’t really show me in my true light,” she explains. “I’m pretty much home in my pajamas most of the time unless I have to go somewhere for work. That’s more what my life is really like than me, you know, in ‘Housewives,’ where we’re always in nice outfits at charity events.”

While her new show, “Bethenny Getting Married?,” premiering tonight at 10 on Bravo, gets more personal — going as far as to film her in therapy sessions and sparring with fiance Jason Hoppy about wedding plans — a few housewives do make their way into the show, which Frankel insists isn’t a forced situation.

“Jill is not on my show because Jill’s not in my life,” she says of frenemy Jill Zarin, whom she grew apart from on the last season of “Housewives.” “Ramona [Singer] was in Africa when I had the baby but Alex [McCord] came to the hospital because she was in town. It’s nothing orchestrated. There’s no drama.”

As for whether or not she’ll return to the TV franchise that made her famous, Frankel sounds doubtful. “It’s not a cliche when I say I don’t believe in staying at a party too long,” she explains. “And I just don’t know what else there is to do there. If I had a lesser part in it and I just dipped in and dipped out once in a while, maybe.”
