ABC showcased its 2011-12 schedule at its upfront presentation, the annual wooing of ad dollars, yesterday.

The lineup includes eight new dramas, including a reboot of “Charlie’s Angels,” and five new comedies, including Tim Allen’s return to TV in “Last Man Standing.” “We’re thrilled to be launching a really diverse and ambitious schedule,” Paul Lee, president of ABC Entertainment Group, said in a statement.

Returning scripted series include “Body of Proof,” “Desperate Housewives” and “Happy Endings,” which join previously announced returning series “Castle,” “Cougar Town,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Middle,” “Modern Family” and “Private Practice.”
