All the ways to score Super Bowl 2019 tickets

Mercedes Benz Stadium

If you still want to score tickets to Super Bowl 2019, steel yourself — it’s going to cost you. But perhaps not much as the last few years.

The New England Patriots will play the Los Angeles Rams at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Sunday, Feb. 3. Face-value tickets aren’t sold to the general public. The NFL distributes 17.5 percent of the tickets to each participating, some of whose season-ticket holders might be able to buy them at face value. Others can snag them by lottery. The host team, the league office and every other NFL team also get a share of available seats.

Many of the tickets head to secondary markets. On Friday, USA Today reported that thousands of tickets were still available for the game on resellers — which was driving prices to a three-year low.

Stubhub: With a little more than week to go before the game, the authorized ticket resale site of the NFL had more than 1,000 seats available, starting at about $2,400 for the uppermost section, $3,500 for lower sections and maxing out at $13,000 for prime sideline views.

Primesport.com: On Location Experiences, the NFL’s official hospitality partner, still has several Super Bowl packages available. A ticket to the game and an all-inclusive pregame party will run you about $2,400 per person. A deluxe package including three nights at the Sheraton Atlanta hotel, a ticket to the game and admission to the pregame starts at $6,075 per person; a four-night hotel option is also available.

TicketIQ: This reseller was showing seats available starting around $2,400. If you’re really looking to splash out, a six-person suite in Loge 106 was available for $66,500 as of Saturday. It includes unlimited food and drinks, plus access to the Mercedes-Benz Club.

Ticketmaster’s NFL Ticket Exchange had upper-tier seats for $2,745 on Saturday, while prime sideline seats in section C128 (on the Patriots’ side) for up to a party of four were going for $20,000 a person.
