Just to be clear, Giants safety Antrel Rolle never used the word “guarantee” during yesterday’s Media Day. But he came awful close.
“We wouldn’t board that plane if we didn’t feel that [we would win],” Rolle said. “We feel that way as a team. We’re not going to be denied at this point. We’re going to do whatever it takes to make sure we come out on top.”
Rolle is always the most outspoken member of the Giants, so it’s not surprising he would be the one making the headlines on Media Day.
But while Rolle is always confident, he isn’t dumb. He realizes the team has a tough task ahead of them.
“They have a lot of weapons and most of all they have Brady back there throwing the ball,” he said. “It’s going to take everybody all the way from the front to the back end, but we will get it done.”
