The Boston College Eagles stunned No. 9 Southern California Saturday night at Alumni Stadium, upsetting the Trojans, 37-31. The last time an unranked BC team beat a top 10 team came in 2002, when the Eagles took down Notre Dame.
The win gives the BC program added momentum, as head coach Steve Addazio appears to have the program on the right track in his second season at The Heights.

Quarterback Tyler Murphy proved to be too much for the Trojans to handle Saturday night as he rushed for 191 yards, including a 66-yard TD run with 3:31 left to play.
Myles Wilson and Jon Hilliman also had solid days carrying the ball for BC, as they both accumulated 89 yards on the ground. Hilliman found the end zone twice.
