Does Boston College deserve an NCAA tournament berth?
At least one prognosticator thinks so.
Yahoo/Rivals.com has their field of 68 picks up. Nestled in among the No. 10 seeds, along with Georgia, Butler and Washington, are the Eagles.
You can make a case both ways for BC. The Eagles are just 19-11, but they surely get some points for being in the (once-)great ACC. They have some good wins, and ripped off a seven-game winning streak back in November and December. And they’re ranked 45th in RPI — well within the field.
But they’ve lost some very winnable games, and dropped all three against Top 25 foes.
In the end, playing the 28th-toughest schedule in the country probably puts them in.
Should it? You tell us.
