Aly Raisman’s Olympic dream reached its pinnacle Tuesday as she captured gold in the floor exercises after earning a bronze in the beam just an hour earlier.
Needham’s own became the first woman to capture the gold on the individual floor in U.S. history.
Raisman will now bring three medals home to Massachusetts as she also earned team gold last week.
NBC will show both of Raisman’s victories tonight on their primetime broadcast beginning at 8 p.m..
