Half of the NFL’s fan bases are already focused on next year with their teams out of the playoff race.
So today we’ll churn out our first NFL Mock Draft for 2020, with a focus on a trio of teams from the Northeast. The Jets and Giants have holes to fill across the board, but both franchises could use upgrades at the wide receiver position – which we have both New York teams doing here in the second round.
As for the quarterbacks coming off the board, keep an eye on the Patriots to target a quarterback in the first or second round with Tom Brady inching closer to retirement. Here we have Bill Belichick going with Georgia’s Jake Fromm, as Belichick has been fond of Bulldogs players in the draft in recent years. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart comes from the Nick Saban coaching tree, of course, and Saban has decades of ties to the Pats boss.
Here is a two-round mock.
