Sony Michel Fantasy Austin Hooper add drop sleepers Week 2

Sony Michel Fantasy Football Austin Hooper add drop sleepers Week 2

Here are three players to keep an eye on in fantasy ahead of the full slate of games in Week 2.

Don’t expect the Patriots to go nuts with Antonio Brown on Sunday as the temperature in the room is too hot right now. Josh Gordon, instead, will likely be Tom Brady’s top target against the Dolphins.

Gordon caught three of four targets for 73 yards and a touchdown against the Steelers in Week 1 and he could have a Hollywood Brown-like performance against a week Dolphins secondary.

Gordon is a must start as a WR2 and expect him to put up WR1 numbers this weekend.

Another player due for a monster game is Falcons tight end Austin Hooper. Hooper has emerged as Matt Ryan’s security blanket in Atlanta as last week he was targeted nine times by Ryan and he caught all nine balls for 77 yards.

Hooper also plays much better at home than he does on the road and with the Falcons playing their first game at Mercedes Benz Stadium this Sunday against Philly – we are on touchdown alert with Hooper. Last season, Hooper caught three of his four TDs at home.

The Eagles are also susceptible to tight ends as they showed last week when old man Vernon Davis had four catches for 59 yards and a touchdown.

Hooper is a must start against Philadelphia this Sunday night.

Add – Drop

Drop: Feel free to drop TE Kyle Rudolph if you have him on your roster. The Vikings passed just 10 times last week against the Falcons, and face a must improved Packers defense this weekend in Green Bay. Rudolph will be a bye week waiver wire pick-up option later in the season, but you should leave him there for now.

Add: Some reactionary fantasy owners dropped Patriots RB Sony Michel after an underwhelming Week 1 but expect Michel to be a large factor in the Patriots game against the Dolphins this weekend.

Bill Belichick will not be running up the score against his former pupil, Brian Flores, so this could be a ground and pound game for the Patriots.

Drop: You can drop Colts running back Nyheim Hines for Week 2 as Indianapolis faces a stiff and underrated defense in the Tennessee Titans. The Titans did not allow a rushing touchdown in Week 1 against the Browns.
