Gladys Knight may have cashed in Sunday night.
Not only did she deliver a near-Whitney Houston-level rendition of the National Anthem, but she likely took the over. Most betting lines for how long Knight’s Anthem would go were around 1:49 – 1:51 but Knight dragged out the final word in the song – Brave – and may have even said it twice. By dragging out “Brave,” Knight pushed the under to the over as she wrapped up at 2 minutes and two seconds.
