A look at how late you can get in those last second bets

The New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams are set to battle in one of the more star-studded Super Bowls in recent memory. The NFL’s biggest star, Tom Brady, leads the Pats to their third straight Super Bowl and the ninth in the Brady – Bill Belichick era. Todd Gurley, who was the leading candidate to win league MVP for much of the season, leads the Rams’ high-powered offense. Los Angeles also has some of the more recognizable defensive players in pro football with Ndamukong Suh, Aaron Donald and Aqib Talib in tow. Millions of people will watch the Super Bowl across the globe. So the most important question for everyone regarding Super Bowl LIII is what time does the Patriots Rams Super Bowl start and end?

The Rams versus Patriots Super Bowl is set to kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. In the host city of Atlanta, the game will also kick off at 6:30 local time. Rams fans watching from Los Angeles will have to tune in at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time. In the Central Time Zone the big game will start at 5:30 p.m. and in Mountain Time the game will kickoff at 4:30 p.m.

Because of the extended halftime show during the Super Bowl, the last game of the NFL season typically goes a little longer than the usual three hours and 10 minutes. Expect Super Bowl LIII to end around 9:56 p.m. Eastern Standard Time if there is no overtime. Last year’s Super Bowl ended at 9:58 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The only Super Bowl to ever go to overtime occurred two years ago between the Patriots and Falcons with the game ending at 10:27 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
