Bobby The Brain Heenan dies, dead at 73: Report

Bobby, The Brain, Heenan, dies, dead

WWE Hall of Fame manager Bobby The Brain Heenan died on Sunday at the age of 73, according to a tweet by fellow Hall of Famer Jim Ross.

WWE had not acknowledged Heenan’s passing as of 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on Sunday night.

Heenan is regarded as the greatest heel manager in pro wrestling history, according to most of his peers. In later years, he became arguably the greatest heel TV announcer of all-time. During his time as a manager, he managed such wrestling talents as Andre The Giant, Ravishing Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, King Kong Bundy and countless others.

Heenan had been out of the limelight in recent years as he had his jaw removed due to throat cancer.
