The Boston College Eagles begin ACC play Friday night as they host the Pitt Panthers at Alumni Stadium (7 p.m., ESPN).
Both BC and Pittsburgh got off to a strong start last week as the Eagles took down UMass, 30-7, and the Panthers absolutely demolished Delaware, 62-0.
The BC defense will need to contain Pitt’s rushing attack as the Panthers had three players rush for over 77 yards last weekend. James Conner led the way for Pitt, with 14 carries for 153 yards and four touchdowns.
Speedy signal-caller Tyler Murphy got off to a phenomenal start as the Eagles’ QB as he ran for 118 yards and completed 17-of-24 passes for 173 yards and a touchdown.
