Bruins re-sign Adam McQuaid

Three-year extension will take him through 2014-15.

D Adam McQuaid made a small but meaningful contribution to the Bruins' Stanley Cup run.

He's been rewarded with a three-year contract extension, the team announced today.

McQuaid, whose regular-season +30 was the best of any rookie, will be with Boston through at least 2014-15. The 24-year-old registered 15 points (three goals) in 67 regular-season games, and four assists in 23 playoff games.

McQuaid was drafted by Columbus in 2005 and traded to Boston in 2007.

The B's also signed F Craig Cunningham and D Zach McKelvie today.
