Buchholz rights the Sox ship, Boston beats Miami

The Red Sox halted their recent skid Tuesday night in Miami.

Clay Buchholz won a pitcher's duel with Miami's Mark Buehrle Tuesday night as he worked seven innings while allowing just one earned run on five hits in a 2-1 Red Sox victory.

Buchholz struck out nine in the effort, while Alfred Aceves earned his 15th save of the season.

Boston scored both of its runs in the seventh inning, finally getting to Buehrle, as Kelly Shoppach doubled home Will Middlebrooks and Mike Aviles drove in Shoppach on a single.
