Celtics blasted by playoff-bound Wizards

The Celtics were slammed by the Wizards Wednesday.

With just a few weeks to go in the regular season, the Celtics seemingly can't wait for summer break while the Wizards can't wait for the playoffs to begin.

Washington beat Boston, 118-92, Wednesday in D.C., clinching its first playoff berth since 2008. The 31-point margin was the worst loss for the Celtics all season.

Jared Sullinger had 25 points in the loss for the Green.

What they'll be saying:
The Celtics know its April, which will be their last month of the 2013-14 season, and appear ready to pack it in. Their performance Wednesday was arguably their worst since the early goings on in Houston to start the year.
