Celtics conclude road trip with loss to Trail Blazers

The Celtics ended their nightmare of a road trip with a 112-104 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers Saturday night. It was the eighth straight loss for the C's.

The C's led by three at the half, but the Trail Blazers ran away with things in the second half. Avery Bradley led the way for the Celtics with 25 points followed by Jeff Green who had 16. Jared Sullinger had a double-double finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds off the bench.

LaMarcus Aldridge paced Portland with 21 points in the win.

Boston will return home Monday (7:30, CSNNE) when they welcome the Rockets to TD Garden.

What they'll be saying: The Celtics have now lost eight straight and 11 of 12. Luckily for them they return home to the TD Garden for three straight games next week where they can hopefully turn things around and get back on the winning track. Playing on the West Coast means you're playing against some of the best teams in the entire NBA, but losing eight straight games isn't really acceptable no matter who the opponent.
