Celtics pounded by Bucks in home opener

The Celtics felt ill after Tuesday night’s NBA opening loss to the Heat in Miami. Friday night’s loss to Milwaukee is more cause for alarm.

Boston was pounded by the Bucks in its home opener, losing 99-88 at TD Garden to fall to 0-2 on the young season.

Brandon Jennings rattled home 21 points and had 13 assists in the Bucks first game of the year.

Rajon Rondo had 14 points and 11 assists to lead the Celtics.

Milwaukee was most impressive in the second quarter as it outscored the C’s 21-12. The Celtics are in Washington to face the Wizards Saturday night (7 p.m., CSN).
