The Eastern Michigan Eagles visit the Central Michigan Chippewas tonight at 7 p.m. ET in a Mid-American Conference clash. This is the first of two meetings between these conference foes.
Eastern Michigan is coming off a 93-67 win over Western Michigan to snap their three-game losing streak. The Eagles are 9-11, 3-4 in the conference and are tied for third in the MAC with Ohio, Miami, and Central Michigan.
The Eagles are led by senior forward Elijah Minnie who is averaging 14.1 PPG on 41.6% shooting. Minnie is one of three players who average double figures for Eastern Michigan.

Eastern Michigan has been struggling from behind the arc this season. They are ranked last in the MAC, making only 30.3% of their shots from three. They are also averaging 14.1 turnovers per game which is the third highest in the conference.
Central Michigan is 14-6 overall with a 3-4 conference record. The Chippewas are currently on a three-game losing streak which is their longest of the season.
The Chippewas are a really good shooting team; they have the third-best field goal percentage in the conference, shooting an incredible 46.3% from the field. They also have the best three-point defense in the MAC. Their opponents shoot just 30.1% from behind the arc.
Central Michigan has two players in the top 10 in scoring in the conference. Senior guards Larry Austin Jr. is ranked fifth with 17.6 PPG and Shawn Roundtree Jr. is 10th with 15.7 PPG.
