College Basketball Green Bay Northern Kentucky free live stream, watch online

The Green Bay Phoenix pay a visit to the Northern Kentucky Norse tonight at 7 p.m. ET at the BB&T Arena in a Horizon League showdown. This is the first of two meetings between these two conference adversaries.

Tonight’s contest is a good old fashion matchup between the top offense and the top defense. Green Bay is first in scoring with 84.9 PPG and Northern Kentucky is first in defense only surrendering 67.3 PPG.

Green Bay is 10-10 overall with a 4-3 conference record and is tied with Wright State and Milwaukee for fourth place in the conference. They are coming off a 90-85 win over UIC which snapped their three-game losing streak.

Green Bay has been struggling mightily on the road this season. They are just 2-8 away from home.

Although Northern Kentucky is the best overall defense, Green Bay averages 8.4 steals per game and forces 16 turnovers per game which is first in the conference for both categories.

Northern Kentucky is first in the Horizon League at 16-4 overall with a 6-1 conference record. The Norse are 11-0 at home and are also on a four-game winning streak.

The Norse are able to keep their opposition shooting just 40.4% from the field and 29.4% from behind the arc. Not only can they defend the basketball at a high level, but they can also shoot at an efficient rate. Northern Kentucky is first in the conference in field goal percentage, shooting an impressive 48%.

Senior forward Drew McDonald is ranked fourth in the conference with 19.1 PPG on 48.8% shooting. He is also first in the conference in rebounds by averaging 10.2 RPG.
