President Donald Trump is withdrawing his invitation to the Golden State Warriors, the reigning NBA champions, as many on the team were contemplating not attending the ceremony due to disagreements with what Trump has done as President and as a Presidential candidate.
Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!

The Warriors have been very outspoken about Trump, including head coach Steve Kerr, who said the following after Trump was elected last November: “I don’t know what else to say,” Kerr said. “Just the whole process has left us all feeling kind of disgusted and disappointed. I thought we were better than this. I thought the Jerry Springer Show was the Jerry Springer Show.”
The NFL champion Patriots visited Trump and the White House in April but star Tom Brady did not attend. Trump did not mention Brady in the White House celebration and has not mentioned Brady, who Trump once said he was close with, since.
