Felix Doubront improved to 6-2 on the season for the Red Sox (28-25), who won their second game in less than 24 hours in Toronto with a 7-4 victory over the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre.


Boston jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first two innings as Will Middlebrooks, Nick Punto and Daniel Nava drove in runs.


Punto would homer in the ninth inning as well to secure the victory for Boston, which was 2.5 games out of first place in the AL East as of Saturday afternoon.
