Drexel, Bruiser Flint agree on multi-year deal

Drexel’s school-record 29 wins was enough to get the head coach a new deal.

The school announced yesterday that Bruiser Flint had agreed to a multi-year contract extension. Terms were not disclosed.

Flint, who just completed his 11th season at Drexel, led the Dragons
to a 29-7 mark this past season — including a stretch of 19 straight
victories — and a trip to the NIT. He was named Colonial Athletic
Association Coach of the Year after finishing 16-2 in conference play.
It was the fourth time he won the award, which tied a CAA record.

“Bruiser has done an outstanding job of making Drexel one of the top
programs in the CAA over the last 11 years,” Drexel athletic director
Eric Zillmer said. “We look forward to him continuing to lead the
Dragons in the years to come.”
