Eagles Notebook: DeSean Jackson signs; Juqua Parker leaves

First things first: DeSean Jackson officially inked his five-year, $51 million deal Thursday. He’ll be in Philadelphia through the 2016 season.

Of other news and notes … free agent defensive end Juqua Parker has agreed to a one-year deal with the Cleveland Browns worth a reported $3 million. Parker had a solid career with the Eagles, but he turns 34 in May and registered just 1.5 sacks last season.

ALSO, highly-coveted free agent linebacker Curtis Lofton is drawing interest from the New Orleans Saints. Many Eagles fans have Lofton high on their wish list. In fact, his former college teammate Gerald McCoy tweeted out a false alarm Wednesday that the Birds and Lofton had a deal in place.
