Believe it, the Vince Young era is upon us, as Mike Vick sits this one with broken ribs.

As expected, No. 9 will lead the Eagles into battle tonight against the Giants. Interesting story (and I use that term very, very loosely here) about Vick being soft from Pro Football Talk. As someone who covers the tea on a daily basis, I completely disagree.

The rest of the inactives include Jeremy Maclin, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Brandon Graham, King Dunlap, Julian Vandervelde, Phillip Hunt. With Maclin out, Riley Cooper makes his first start.

For the Giants, we have a nice local connection as Mark Herzlich (Conestoga High) gets the start at middle linebacker.

The first-team offense is taking some snaps by the 10-yard line. Coach Andy Reid was talking with safeties Kurt Coleman, Nate Allen at the 40. Entire team huddled up, looks like they got a pep talk and now heading back into the locker room.

We'll see you back here at halftime ...
