Last week, we alerted you to the start of the 2012 National Lacrosse League (NLL) season. If you don't remember, check out our interview with Wings coach/GM Johnny Mouradian.

Anyway, the Wings dropped their season opener 22-12 to Rochester this past Saturday night. It wasn't the start the team wanted obviously, but it's what happened at the end that might excite some Philly fans not familiar with the sport of indoor lacrosse.

Yes, NLL games feature hockey-style fights. And yes, one broke out — and lasted for almost five minutes — last weekend as two goalies went head-to-head. In case you missed it, 6ABC captured the ruckus on their evening broadcast (link courtesy of Deadspin).

The Wings are home again this Saturday, at the Wells Fargo Center, for a 7 p.m. game vs. Washington. Good seats are still available ...
