1 Playing through pain? — Tom Brady was, again, positively human yesterday, completing just 11 of 23 passes for 115 yards, a TD and an interception. He was bailed out by Buffalo’s 11 penalties and porous run defense, but that’s not going to happen every week.
2 Too close — The Pats are 2-for-2 against the bafflingly bad Bills this year, but the wins have come by a total of only eight points. On some level, you can’t argue with winning. But two close games against Buffalo sure proves New England isn’t what it once was.
