FINCH LEAVES BIG SHOES TO FILL

Kurt Warner, the guy who famously went from stocking grocery story shelves to the Arena Football League to Super Bowl champion, is supposedly in talks to have a reality show based on his life. It’s that or a movie, if you believe the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

But who would play the very religious — once voted one of the Top 12 Evangelical Christians in Sports — and goateed QB?

Here are our picks:

John Krasinski: You know him as Jim from “The Office.” He’s athletic (did you see the basketball episode?) and was in a football movie with George Clooney (Leatherheads).

Josh Brolin: Seems rugged enough. Facial hair wouldn’t be a problem. The two kind of, sort of, look alike (if you give Brolin a Warner-like buzz). The only question is if he’s too old, at age 42, to play an NFL QB.

Matt Damon/Ben Affleck: Aren’t they automatically in the mix for any sports-related role? As A-listers, they probably wouldn’t have interest, but both are sports fans who are athletic enough to pull it off.

Mel Gibson: His career appears to be in the toilet after those insane phone conversations made their way around the Web. Plus he’s got the religious angle down.
