Fox upfront: Dinosaurs and other giants (of the reality TV kind)

Fox introduced its 2011-12 lineup to advertisers yesterday during its upfront presentation, hoping to lure ad dollars with new programming.

Though pickups of pilots, including the Zooey Deschanel-led sitcom “New Girl” and J.J. Abrams thriller “Alcatraz,” were announced last week, the confirmed schedule announced yesterday includes a total of four new comedies, three new dramas and the most anticipated new unscripted series of the year, Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor.”

Check out the trailers below for the new shows screened to the advertisers and media at the upfront presentation.

Also announced was the pickup of Seth MacFarlane’s “The Flintstones” reboot, set to begin production this fall and hit screens in 2013.
