Get in the game

Where to watch, eat and drink this Sunday:

Changing Times
1247 Melville Rd., Farmington, 631-694-6462
Changing Times will be tailgating it up in the parking lot before the big game. Forecasters are predicting frosty temps for Sunday, but rabble-rousers can take comfort from the hot grill serving up burgers and sausage. After the kick-off, there will be $3 pints of domestic draft along with 35-cent wings and a raffle at halftime.

Brick House Brewery
67 W. Main St., Patchogue 631-447-2337
If you’re out by Patchogue, consider the Brick House Brewery. There you’ll find the best wings on the Island, according to general manager Maude Franklin. She might not be the most objective source, but for 25 cents apiece during the game, it’s definitely worth a shot. Come for the wings, stay for $3 pints of their eponymous brews.

McCann’s Pub and Grill
5590 Merrick Road,
Massapequa, 516-798-1496
On the South Shore, stop by McCann’s Pub and Grill in Massapequa where a buffet of wings and other football standards will be available throughout the game. The pub will also be serving up $3 domestics at its flat screen-lined bar.

Meehan’s of Huntington
369 New York Ave.,
Huntington, 631-351-0831
Meehan’s of Huntington welcomes you to watch the action on 16 screens while enjoying its renowned shepherd’s pie. Don’t expect any specials here, but that won’t stop the local patronage from filling up this popular pub.

The Library Café
274 Main St.,Farmingdale
516-752-7678
The Library Café is offering an all-you-can-eat-and-drink buffet. Reservations are required, but for your $35 investment you’ll get unlimited access to 13 taps, wine, a buffet brimming with buffalo wings, sliced skirt steak and penne alla vodka — as well as giveaways throughout the night. It’s got over a dozen plasma screens throughout the bar to ensure you won’t miss any of the action when you’re reloading.
