Celtics fans driving into the city this week shouldn’t just be furious regarding the non-stop Ray Allen talk.
The primary source of most Heat hatred around Boston, LeBron James, is featured on an electronic billboard on I-93 South in Medford, just three miles from the TD Garden.
The billboard reads, “Congrats LeBron. A championship has a nice ring to it,” with a picture of a grinning James to the right.
The billboard is an advertisement for the sports energy drink, Powerade.
James’ Heat have eliminated the Celtics from the playoffs the past two seasons and Allen’s departure to Miami has fueled the relatively new rivalry to a fever pitch.
