Jets enter bye on top of AFC East

This time last year, the clock was just striking midnight on the Jets and their Cinderella start to the season. After a 3-0 open to 2009, New York dropped its next three games and ultimately six of the next seven.

Fast forward to 2010 and the Jets enter the bye at 5-1, with an unblemished mark in the AFC East and tied for the best record in the NFL.

“Winning ugly is still winning,” said cornerback Drew Coleman. “We still are winning those games and we’re a confident, confident group right now.”
