Following concerns that his hamstring injury might hold him back from playing against the NFL’s second-best passing offense on Sunday, Darrelle Revis was limited to individual training on Wednesday but was feeling better. “The swelling went down a lot. Feels good,” Revis said.…Linebacker Calvin Pace registered 1 ½ sacks and three tackles in his season debut last week, and on Wednesday, he alternated between time on the bike and practicing with the linebackers. “It felt good, just a little sore today,” Pace told Metro New York…

The Broncos have dominated the recent series with the Jets, having won the last two meetings. Two years ago, Denver beat New York 34-17 at the Meadowlands. In the meeting before that, Denver shut-out the Jets 27-0 in 2005…In the 2008 meeting, then rookie Dustin Keller had a team-high seven catches for 77 yards in the loss…LaDainian Tomlinson’s 94 rushing yards on Monday night pushed him into the top five league leaders with 435 rushing yards this season on 76 carries…For those Jets fans who were discrediting the move to let former running back Thomas Jones walk in his free agent season, the numbers don’t lie when stacked up against Tomlinson. Through the first five games of last season, Jones had 313 yards on 74 carries. Compare that to Tomlinson’s production numbers…

Through the first 20 games of his NFL career, Kyle Orton has surpassed some pretty impressive company in Denver, including legendary quarterback John Elway. Orton has more touchdowns and more completions and has over 2,000 more passing yards then Elway did at the same 20-game point in his career…Denver is second in the league in passing yards but is dead last in rushing yards per game. The 51.8 yards on the ground per game is less than a third of what the Jets are churning out every week. “We’re striving to become more balanced,” Denver head coach Josh McDaniels said…With all due respect to McDaniels, does it count as “striving” if you don’t actually, well, strive? The Broncos are near the bottom third of the league in rushing attempts, toting the ball just 114 times this season.
