Jets’ Revis could miss two weeks

Antonio Cromartie silenced Randy Moss in the second half of Sunday’s 28-14 win over the Patriots. The corner’s next challenge might be locking down Brandon Marshall Sunday in Miami.

Cromartie could be bumped to the No. 1 cornerback slot after Darrelle Revis’ MRI yesterday revealed a strained left hamstring. It’s the same injury that limited the All-Pro last week in practice and forced him to miss the second half of Sunday’s game.

“They said it could take one or two weeks, or it could take a week,” said Revis, who was burned by Moss for a 34-yard touchdown late in the first half against New England. “It depends on how my body recovers.”

Neither Revis nor coach Rex Ryan officially ruled him out for Week 3, but it appears imminent.

“It’s not pulled or anything,” Revis said. “It’s just a strained hamstring and you just have to rest it. It takes time with a strained hamstring.”
