Patriots owner Robert Kraft met with the media at Gillette Stadium yesterday, touching on topics ranging from his wife’s death to Chad Ochocinco and Albert Haynesworth.
Kraft expressed his gratitude to fans “from all over the world” who sent notes of sympathy.
“I am committed to reading every tweet, e-mail [and] letter,” he said.?“I have two boxes of letters that are still packed, and the reach of my sweetheart is unbelievable.”
Kraft wore an “MHK” pin on his lapel — a replica of the patch Patriots players will wear on the field this season.
One of those players, Chad Ochocinco, has said he’ll be staying at least a few weeks with a fan. Kraft said he’s received an offer to host Ochocinco from “someone prominent here in Foxborough.”
The owner also expressed a liking for controversial new Pats DT Albert Haynesworth.
“He came here to be part of a team and win and I think in some ways, improve his reputation,”?Kraft said.
