There was a Lebron James Lakers jersey sighting and the picture was not Photoshopped.
LeBron James posted the first photo of himself in a Lakers Jersey and also shared a message to anyone who may not like him or his choice to play for the Los Angeles Lakers.
James, who decided to take his talents to the Los Angeles Lakers for the upcoming 2018-2019 season, posted photos to his Instagram Story wearing the iconic purple and gold Lakers uniform.
In one of the photos, James, 33, was sitting in a chair inside what appears to be a dressing room and is pictured laughing with “U mad huh?!?!” written on the image. While it’s not clear exactly what James meant by the message, it can easily be taken as him talking directly to anyone who may not like him or his choice to play in L.A. The NBA star recently opened a school in his hometown and also announced he will be the executive producer for a three-part Showtime documentary series called “Shut Up and Dribble.”
In another photo, James drew arrows pointing to himself wearing his official LeBron James Lakers jersey and wrote, “#IMKING and #LakeShow.”

It also appears that the now-Lakers superstar is paying homage to another former Lakers star. In one of the photos, James posted a close-up of his new sneakers. James is pictured wearing a pair of the Kobe 1 Protro “Undefeated” sneaker. On that photo, he wrote, “Oh my bad I didn’t properly introduce these on the last post.” The unreleased kicks he was wearing features a gold camo print with “UNDFTD” in purple. It’s not clear if these sneakers will ever hit the shelves, but if you love the different variations of the Lakers gold and purple colorway, you can expect Nike to release updated versions of his Nike signature sneaker this season.
